Marvel is introducing a group of female Avengers called the A-Force. She-Hulk, Dazzler, Medusa, and Nico Minoru dominate "A-Force," which is being written by G. Willow Wilson and Marguerite Bennett, and drawn by Jorge Molina.

With the only caveat that the characters be female and that she create an all-new character, Wilson told USA Today she felt as if she had the “keys to the castle.”

“They've become very committed in the last couple of years to telling new stories, to gender diversity, to getting more voices out there so they said, 'Here's the roster. Go nuts,'" Wilson told USA Today.

This first all-female Avengers team comes into being after this summer’s "Secret Wars" ends the Marvel Universe and the Avengers, Entertainment Weekly said.

Among those female characters will be the new Singularity, whom EW described as “cosmically powered.”

USA Today expanded on her powers, describing her as a “cosmological event.” Wilson tweeted details about her.

Singularity, Wilson told USA Today, will allow them to “strip it all the way down to the basics: What does it mean to be a woman and what would that look like to somebody who was learning about the human race as an outsider and is learning about what it means to have relationships with other people."

Most on the internet welcomed the all-female A-Force, and responded quickly to any slights.
