A "Full House" reunion could be next on Netflix's agenda and rumor has it the potential new series would pick up with DJ Tanner and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler.
TVLine.com reported that a reunion show, "Fuller House," is close to scoring a 13-episode order from Netflix. Candace Cameron Bure would return as Danny Tanner's eldest daughter DJ, and Andrea Barber would reprise her role as wacky Kimmy. The reunion show is hoping to attract guest spots from actors Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier, who all starred in the famous late '80s/early '90s sitcom.
"The project is being shepherded by the original show's creator, Jeff Franklin, who will exec-produce alongside Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett," TVLine.com noted.
Bure posted a picture of her and her former costar on Instagram Thursday, stirring the rumor pot even more.
A "Full House" reunion would continue the recent trend of television show revivals.
Netflix announced in February that it's cooking up a Pee-wee Herman comeback with the Judd Apatow-produced "Pee-wee's Big Holiday" movie,
starring Paul Reubens, according to Variety.
NBC also announced in March that it will bring back the ABC series "Coach," starring Craig T. Nelson, for a 13-episode stint.
