"Fuller House," the Netflix reboot of the popular '90s television show, is coming together, with actress Lori Loughlin announcing this week that she will reprise her role as Aunt Becky.

Loughlin shared the news on “Good Morning America” Thursday.

But not all of the show’s original cast members have decided to come back. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twins who portrayed Michelle Tanner, have decided not to be part of the show.

“We would have loved it, it would have been great, but we understand,” Loughlin said of the Olsens’ decision.

“Full House” ran from 1987 to 1995, and fans of the show were excited to hear that Netflix is planning a reboot sometime in 2016. The new “Fuller House” will feature the original character of DJ Tanner-Fuller who is now “a widow and mother of two who is expecting a third," according to a description on iMDB. “Things become too much to handle, so she asks for help from her sister Stephanie and her best-friend Kimmy.”

Fans reacted online to the news that Loughlin will rejoin her TV-show husband, Jessie Katsopolis (played by John Stamos) for the show:

But the announcement that there would be a remake of the much-loved series was not universally applauded.
