The Glacier Park murder trial kicks off this week in Montana as prosecutors prepare to prove their theory that a newlywed bride blindfolded her husband and pushed him face-first off a cliff back in July.
Jury selection began Monday in a U.S. District Court in Missoula, Mont., where 22-year-old Jordan Linn Graham is being charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and making false statements to police.

Prosecutors claim that Graham was having second thoughts about the marriage and deliberately pushed Cody Johnson, her husband of eight days,
off a cliff in Glacier National Park on July 7, according to the New York Daily News.
Johnson was reported missing the following day when he didn’t show up to work, and Graham initially told investigators that she had seen him drive off with friends the night before. She eventually admitted that she lied and led officials to his body three days later.
Graham's attorneys are now arguing that the newlywed and her husband got into an argument on top of the cliff and
Graham pushed Johnson's arm away as he went to grab her, causing him to lose his balance and fall off the cliff, according to the Daily News.
"Jordan lied because she was afraid no one would ever let her explain what happened on that ledge," Andy Nelson, Graham's public defender, told the jury. "Jordan did not want to report this accident because she was afraid."
U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy said he hopes to get the trial to jury this week.
