Hillary Rodham Clinton did not rank in Google's top searches of 2014, but Sen. Elizabeth Warren — her potential rival for the Democratic presidential nomination — did.
President Barack Obama and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, on the list.
At the end of each year,
Google releases Top 10 lists of its most searched for terms in dozens of categories from cars to athletes to movies. Ford, Ray Rice, and "Frozen" were the most searched for in each of those categories, respectively. Across all search categories, Google users around the globe searched for Robin Williams, World Cup, and Ebola more than anything else in 2014.
In this year's Politicians category, Obama, Christie, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul clinched the top three spots. Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Scott Walker, and Paul Ryan — potential 2016 contenders all — rounded out the list.
USA Today noticed that, curiously, the remaining seven slots in the Top 10 were glaringly absent of former first lady Hillary Clinton.
"Do Americans already know enough about Hillary Rodham Clinton that she doesn’t need to be Googled?" the publication's On Politics blog wondered aloud.
Clinton has not held office since stepping down from her position as U.S. Secretary of State in 2013, but she did release a book, "Hard Choices," in June of this year, making headlines across the world and setting her up for a possible presidential run.
Nonetheless, she didn't make the Top 10 in politicians, and her book didn't make the top books list.
