Gwyneth Paltrow was dissed by Martha Stewart in the latest edition of "Martha Stewart Living" in the continued back and forth between the two celebrities with the magazine taking a "conscious coupling" dig at Paltrow's breakup with Chris Martin.

In "Martha Stewart Living" magazine's spread on Thanksgiving pies is the headline "Conscious Coupling," which spotlights the "perfect marriage of crust and filing," according to E! News. The reference is an obvious swipe at the now infamous "Conscious Uncoupling" headline on Paltrow's blog when the actress announced her separation from husband musician Martin last March.

The celebrity dust-up started with Stewart's comments during a Bloomberg TV interview last October when the media lifestyle mogul seems to first set her sights on the actress who was breaking into the lifestyle business herself.

"I haven't eaten at Gwyneth's house, and I've never seen how she lives, but if she is authentic, all the better," Stewart told Bloomberg TV. "I mean, I certainly hope she is. She really wants to be part of the lifestyle business."

"Gwyneth, for example, has a book on the best-seller list. She must be doing something right. She's a charming, pretty person who has a feeling for lifestyle. She wants to be a lifestyle arbiter. Fine. Good. I think I started this whole category of lifestyle," Stewart continued.

In September, Stewart took it a step further, telling Net-a-Porter magazine, "(Paltrow) just needs to be quiet. She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart."

At Fortune magazine's Most Powerful Women's Summit on Tuesday, Paltrow said she found it amusing that she was on Stewart's mind.

"No one has ever said anything bad about me before, so I'm shocked and devastated. I'll try to recover," Paltrow joked. "If I'm really honest, I'm so psyched that she sees us as competition. I really am."

Paltrow, though, threw her own punch last week by hiring former Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia chief executive officer Lisa Gersh to run her lifestyle business GOOP, noted The Hollywood Reporter.

"Gwyneth Paltrow and her team took an inspired idea and turned it into a multiplatform lifestyle brand with a large and devoted audience," Gersh said in a statement last week, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "As a fan since its launch, I've admired the inimitable voice and style Gwyneth has infused into goop and the business she's built."
