Harrison Ford’s accident on the set of the latest "Star Wars" movie actually resulted in a broken leg, not a broken ankle as was originally thought.

"His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly," Ford publicist Ina Treciokas said in a statement, BBC News reported. "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."

The 71-year-old Ford was reportedly hurt by a door as he filmed a scene on Han Solo’s spaceship, the Millennium Falcon.

Ford’s injury has been fodder for the online community to show its creativity or snarkiness.

Reports say Ford could miss as many as eight weeks of filming from the injury.

A source told The Mirror right after Ford was injured, “Every day of filming lost would cost a six-figure sum with all the people and special effects involved. Harrison’s injury is a big blow and bosses are meeting to stop filming descending into complete chaos. The hope is that before too long Harrison can return and film scenes from the waist up while his ankle heals. Until then they can shoot other scenes.”
