Heidi Klum took a spectacular tumble on “America’s Got Talent” Monday night while performing “Santa Baby” on the NBC show.
The 43-year-old supermodel was singing a duet with Sal Valentinetti on Monday’s “America’s Got Talent Holiday Spectacular” before she took a tumble in the middle of the performance, ET noted.
Klum was twirled by Valentinetti before taking a fall, but she continued singing as if nothing had happened, which sparked a standing ovation from judge Simon Cowell, who is usually pretty hard to impress.
Klum not only drew attention for her tumble, but her entrance was eye-catching in itself as she descended to the stage on a giant candy cane in a stunning red dress.
According to ET, Monday night’s performance was Klum’s singing debut.
Prior to the show, Klum told Billboard, “I love singing, but I’m not a singer like Sal! I’m hoping the other judges don’t press their X buzzers on me.”
The twice-divorced mother-of-four said she’s excited for the holiday season.
“I love the holidays!” she said, per the Daily Mail. “We decorate practically every inch of the house so it feels really festive.”
“My kids love it,” Klum added. “German tradition is to have the big dinner and celebration on Christmas Eve, so that’s our special night.”
Klum is widely known for her talent as a model, having starred on “Project Runway,” ET noted. In the past, she’s been photographed topless, and even recently opened up about why she considers herself a nudist.
“I grew up going to nude beaches with my parents, so I’m a nudist,” Klum said. “I have no problems with nudity at all. I’m very free. When I go to the beach, it’s in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people, and I like to go topless.”
