Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the couple that everyone loved to hate on MTV's "The Hills," blew through $10 million in just a few years, the reality TV villains revealed this week in a new interview.
"We were immature and we got caught up," Pratt, 30, told In Touch. "Every time we'd go out to eat, we'd order $4,000 bottles of wine. Heidi was going to the mall and dropping $20,000 to $30,000 a day. We thought we were Jay Z and Beyonce."

"Now I can spend like $100 at Victoria's Secret. I feel like a different person," Montag, 27, said.
The couple, who married in 2009, portrayed the villains on "The Hills," a reality show about a group of Los Angeles 20-somethings that was always rumored to have been scripted. Pratt also discussed what it was like being the most hated man on television.
"I didn't realize people would only know me as that character," he said. "It was just a persona I played up to make a paycheck."
Montag, who attempted a music career in 2010 with her debut album "Superficial," said she doesn't regret doing "The Hills" but that it "took a toll on my soul. I'm thankful not to have fake fights anymore."
Montag also made headlines in 2010 for undergoing 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day — a mini brow lift, botox, a second rhinoplasty, a second breast augmentation, fat injections into her cheeks and lips, a chin reduction, liposuction, and a
buttock augmentation, according to People magazine.
She then had a third breast surgery last month, when she replaced her F-cup implants with Cs.
"Over the past few years my implants have handicapped me, I have not been able to do a lot of things,"
Montag told the Daily Mail. "Over the past nine months I have not been able to do laundry, or look after my dogs or clean my house and I have had to stop working out because my injuries are so severe I cannot even do simple things like rowing or running.
"I have been limited in my everyday life and the last few months especially have been so uncomfortable and in pain that it has really been taking a toll on my life and my mood."
The couple will talk more about their financial problems Dec. 9 on the E! special, "After Shock: Heidi and Spencer."
