A Heisenberg mask gave Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston the perfect way to blend in with the crowds at Comic-Con 2013: Like thousands of others, he walked around the San Diego Convention Center in costume.
The mask he wore was one of Walter White, the character Cranston plays on "Breaking Bad" (whose alias is Heisenberg). He let everyone in on the gag during a panel discussion.
“When the panel was being introduced, it looked like Cranston, the show’s star, would be joining the panel in full make-up,
exactly like his character Walter White,” wrote U-T San Diego. “But minutes later, he pulled off his glasses and peeled back a professional quality mask to reveal his own face, without glasses and with a short buzz cut.”

Cranston said that while he was walking the convention floor posing for pictures, people thought he was just a regular guy wearing a Walter White mask.
The stunt has caused quite the conversation.
“What if we thought was Bryan Cranston was just Scott Baio in a mask the whole time?” tweeted Sam Williams, who uses the handle @offensivename.
“This is brilliant. @BryanCranston dressed as Heisenberg at Comic-con and nobody noticed,” tweeted @HausMusik.
"Breaking Bad" is a hugely popular drama that follows high school science teacher Walter White after he decides to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine following his diagnosis with inoperable lung cancer.
Cranston wasn’t the first to go incognito at Comic-Con. Justin Timberlake in 2011 walked the convention floor dressed as Ernie, the muppet from "Sesame Street." Michael Cera once walked around wearing a gorilla mask.
Gawker.com reported that "Breaking Bad" co-star Aaron Paul called Cranston “the most professional person I’ve ever worked with but also the most immature man I’ve ever experienced, as you can tell. Which is a beautiful combination.”
