Hillary Clinton's first attack ad since Donald Trump became the presumptive Republican presidential nominee features an all-star cast of party stalwarts bashing the billionaire businessman.

The ad, released by Clinton on Twitter this Wednesday, features clips from six former candidates, including U.S. Senators Ted Cruz, Lindsay Graham, and Marco Rubio; former Governors Jeb Bush and George Pataki; and businesswoman Carly Fiorina. Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential candidate, also plays a prominent role in the video.

"The most vulgar person ever to aspire to the presidency," Rubio says in the ad.

"He's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot," Graham adds.

"He needs therapy," Bush says in an old clip that closes the video.

The video also makes liberal use of Romney's March speech, in which he unloaded on Trump.

Ad Age called the video "a spectacular pile-on" as it uses some of the more damning quotes Trump's former opponents have made over the last year.

"The ad powerfully replays words that Trump's opponents used against him during a rancorous primary season," wrote The Boston Globe. "It has Marco Rubio calling Trump a 'con artist' and Ted Cruz calling him a 'bully.' There's a clip of Trump mocking a reporter with disabilities, and of his voice describing Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly after her tough questioning of him during the first Republican debate."

Some on social media said they are looking forward to Trump's response, while others believe the comments may play to Trump's status as an outsider.
