Honey Boo Boo's dad has been hospitalized and is undergoing tests for a mysterious medical condition.
Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, the father of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, the young beauty pageant star on on the reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," has been suffering from an unknown condition that causes him to pass out.

The family traveled from their home in McIntyre, Ga., and
Thompson submitted to tests in the hopes of a diagnosis, according to E! News.
"Well everyone plz keep sugarbear in our thought as we r leaving mcintrye to head to Jacksonville to the mayo clinic to see what they will say in the am," family matriarch "Mama June" Shannon wrote on
Facebook Sunday. "We r all nervous to c what will b done with everything will update when we hear something #nervous and #hoping for the best."
Sugar Bear will reportedly remain in the hospital through the end of the week, according to Mama June.
"Well we r back at the hotel after the neuro appt have to go back for more tests today and we will b here all week to run tests and more appts to get the right diagnosis and treatment sugarbear needs so will update more later," she wrote.
Thompson has endured a series of health issues in the past year. He was hospitalized in September after an infection from a foot injury that left him on crutches.
Two months later, an ambulance was called to their home after Thompson said he wasn't feeling well, which prevented him from serving as
Santa Claus for the family's toy drive, E! Online reported.
In May, he went to the hospital after collapsing.
The reality shows on TLC focuses on 7-year-old child beauty pageant participant "Honey Boo Boo," her parents, and three older sisters. It is filmed mostly in and around the family's hometown in rural McIntyre, Ga.
