Hope Solo, the two-time Olympic gold medalist soccer goalkeeper, was arrested on domestic violence charges over the weekend after reportedly getting into a fight with her sister and 17-year-old nephew.

Solo, 32, was taken into custody early Saturday after officers responded to reports of an assault and noise disturbance at the U.S. soccer player's home in Kirkland, Washington.

According to USA Today, the male caller who dialed 911 told the dispatcher that a woman was "hitting people." When police arrived, Solo was reportedly intoxicated and there were "visible injuries" to her sister and 17-year-old nephew, the official complaint stated.

"There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation," Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray told The Seattle Times.

Solo, identified in police documents as "Hope Amelia Stevens," is currently being held without bail at the South Correctional Entity Regional Jail in Des Moines, Washington, on two counts of investigation of fourth-degree domestic-violence assault, according to The Times.

"Hope is not guilty of any crime," her attorney, Todd Maybrown, said in a statement. "In fact, our investigation reveals that Hope was assaulted and injured during this unfortunate incident. We look forward to the opportunity to present the true facts in court and to having this matter behind Hope very soon."

A goalkeeper for the undefeated Seattle Reign FC, Solo was forced to miss Sunday's road game against the Western New York Flash.

"We are aware of the situation regarding Hope Solo and are currently gathering information," the team said in a statement.

This isn’t the first time Solo has been involved in a domestic violence dispute. In November 2012, her then-boyfriend, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, was arrested after an altercation that reportedly left Solo injured.

He was later released on lack of evidence and the pair wed the next day.
