Professional wrestler and reality star Hulk Hogan badly burned his hand in a radiator explosion at his Florida home this weekend, and then tweeted the gruesome photos for all the world to see.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was taken to the Tampa General Hospital's emergency room on Sunday after burning his left hand.
He broke the news about his hospitalization via Twitter: "I (am) at the ER now at Tampa General Hospital." Hogan, though, hardly stopped there. The wrestler tweeted the aftermath, stating the accident happened on his boat, followed by a picture with the words "
Double Ouch." Then he sent a second photo with the words "
Triple Ouch."

While Hogan was eager to show the public he was alright, he would later apologize for the photos."I apologize for posting my burned hand photos, with all the feedback I now realize I really should take a moment before I make a decision," he tweeted.
Hogan did find solidarity with one Twitter follower. One identified as ChrisMotto said: "@HulkHogan b thankful u have your hand brother, been there" and then shares a photo of his own gruesome hand injury.
Matt Roberts added the tweet: "@HulkHogan it hurts just looking at those pics . . I hope they can fix you up! Get well soon!"
Hogan is apparently not the first reality star to share a gory photo of himself on Twitter.
Newsmax reported that last week motorcycle guru Jesse James chopped off his pinky finger during an accident at his shop in Austin and shared the severed finger injury with all of his fans on Twitter.

Overcoming a radiator burn may have been welcomed distraction from fighting a sex tape lawsuit with the website Gawker. Back in October, the website posted a 30-minute Hogan sex tape. Hogan sued, alleging a host of legal violations including invasion of his privacy, misappropriation of his publicity rights and infliction of emotional distress.
In March, a judge determined that Gawker's attempt to move Hogan's lawsuit to federal courtroom was improper, giving Hogan an early victory in the dispute.
