Apple has released iOS 7.1.1, yet another update to its iOS 7 operating system after several new updates were released in March.
According to Apple Insider, “improvements, bug fixes, and security updates" are part of the iOS 7.1.1 improvements to the iPhone 5s Touch ID fingerprint sensor and the keyboard responsiveness for iPhones and iPads.

SRLabs, a technology research laboratory in Germany, had criticized Apple last October for vulnerabilities related to the iPhone 5’s fingerprint security technology.
Since iOS 7 was introduced in the fall of 2013, Apple has made several fixes, including the ones in March that dealt with crash-related issues iPhone and iPad users were experiencing while using the multitasking view and browsing the Web in Safari. The iOS 7.1 also brought improvements for Siri and Touch ID and “set the stage for the launch of CarPlay in supported vehicles,” Apple Insider said.
Apple is expected to introduce the iOS 8, its eighth-generation mobile operating system, in early June at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference.
