Ireland Baldwin, 19-year-old daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger, was reportedly attacked by three men while residing in a rehab facility in California, according to a source in an exclusive
London Daily Mail story.
The newspaper showed pictures of Baldwin with bruises on her face while walking with boyfriend Jon Kasik, 23, who she met at the Soba Recovery Center in Malibu. The source told the Daily Mail she was attacked on Monday by men who had been following her.
"Three guys attacked Ireland," said the source. "A week ago, a crew of guys was following Ireland around Malibu, tailing her car super close. So Ireland came back to Soba Recovery Center and got one of the bodyguards at the center to come out and say the harassment needs to stop."
Baldwin has been at Soba since April after splitting with her partner Angel Haze, a rapper and singer, who she had been with for a year, noted the Daily Mail.
"This was not the reason Ireland entered a multi-treatment facility," a source told
Us Weekly then about her breakup and move to rehab. "She entered due to a variety of pressures in her life. Ireland is being pro-active, doing really well, and being positive about life."
Hollywood Life.com reported, though, that entering rehab in April possibly wasn't the young Baldwin's choice.
"She came in kicking and screaming," a source said. "Apparently Ireland did not think that she has a problem, but she has been partying non-stop and her family is worried sick about her. Alcoholism runs in their family. Two of Ireland's relatives also went to this facility, so this place is well-trusted in the family."
On Wednesday, Ireland Baldwin's father commented about his new son, Rafael Thomas, who was born earlier that day to his current wife Hilaria, reported celebrity show
"Extra."
"Someone else is doing all the hard work and you're there for them… you sit there and go, I would do anything to make this easier for you, my wife is really, she’s my hero, she’s tough," said Alec Baldwin.
