Jeffrey Sandusky, the adopted son of convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky, was arrested in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and charged Monday with sexually assaulting a child.

Jeffrey Sandusky, 41, allegedly sent explicit text messages to a girl whose mother he dated and lived with for about five years, including some that asked her to send naked photographs, according to news station WTAJ.

The girl shared the texts with her father, who then told police. Sandusky was then asked to leave the home, the New York Post reported.

The allegations against Sandusky also included the abuse of a second child dating back to 2013, the court complaint stated.

He is charged with 14 counts of sexual assault, including "unlawful contact with minors, solicitation of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and solicitation of statutory sexual assault," the Post reported.

Sandusky has been barred from having contact with minors and bail was set at $200,000, WTAJ reported.

His father, former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, was convicted of child sex abuse over a period of 15 years in 2012 and is serving 30 to 60 years in a supermax prison in Pennsylvania.

Jerry’s other adopted son Matthew detailed the sexual abuse he suffered from his father, including forced oral sex, on the television show "Oprah Prime" in July 2014. Although Matthew had previously denied that level of abuse, he said that through therapy, memories were coming back that he hadn’t had at the time of the trial.

Matthew met Jerry when he was 11 through Jerry’s Second Mile charity for underprivileged boys. Jerry Sandusky and his wife “Dottie” adopted a total of six children, five boys and one girl, during their marriage. None of the other children, including Jeffrey, has reported any abuse.
