Dr. Jen Arnold is "ready for life to be boring" after a battle against cancer, she told ABC News in an interview. "The Little Couple" star is in remission but still recovering, she said.

Arnold and her husband Bill Klein learned of the sickness during a trip to India last year to adopt the couple's second child, daughter Zoey.

She announced earlier this month that the disease had gone into remission.

Now, she hopes for some normalcy.

"I'm still dealing with fatigue from chemo brain, and I try to get back into things like I was before cancer," Arnold told Closer Weekly. "It's hitting me that it's going to take a bit longer than I wanted it to."

Arnold is still excited by her progress. When told the disease had gone into remission, she celebrated at the hospital with cupcakes, she told Closer.

Arnold was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called choriocarcinoma, which had spread to her lungs. She endured a hysterectomy and chemotherapy. She will be watched closely for at least a year to look for any changes, though doctors put her chances of a full recovery at about 90 percent, said Closer Weekly.

New episodes of "The Little Couple" begin airing March 4. Cameras chronicled the family's adoption journey to India and showed Arnold's cancer treatment.
