Jennifer Lopez is baring all for her fans. The 51-year-old pop icon caused a stir after she posted a nude photo of herself to Instagram on Wednesday as part of a promotional campaign for her single "In the Morning."
"Surprise! Here's the official cover art for #InTheMorning. Single drops Friday," she captioned the provocative image.
While the focus is meant to be on Lopez's new song, fans were more preoccupied with her body. Some were full of praise while others slammed the star for revealing too much.
"Is that what it takes to sell your music," one Instagram user wrote.
"No no no don't be a Kim kardashian. Keep it classy Jlo," another commented on the post.
"AROD EYEZ ONLY," a fan wrote in reference to Lopez's fiance, former New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez. During his 22-year career, the MLB star, known as A-Rod, hit 696 home runs, placing him fourth on Major League Baseball's all-time home run list. He retired in 2016.
The couple announced their engagement last year and were planning their perfect wedding when the coronavirus pandemic struck, forcing them to put everything on hold. Lopez spoke about her big day in April via chat on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"It did affect it a little bit. We will see what happens now," she said. "Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that," Lopez says. "We're kinda of just in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. Again, it's just something we're going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out."
