Jenny McCarthy Slammed on Twitter Over Anti-Vaccination Stand

Jenny McCarthy is at the center of a Twitter war over her opinions on vaccination after the former Playboy model-turned-autism activist posed a seemingly innocuous question to her followers last week.

The 41-year-old co-host of "The View" has been very vocal about her feelings toward vaccinations for years. In a 2008 "Larry King Live" interview, McCarthy even argued that having her son vaccinated at an early age triggered his autism diagnosis.

But she made no mention of autism or vaccinations in the tweet to her 1.13 million followers last week.

That, however, didn’t stop a legion of Twitter users from spinning her question into an opportunity to bash her for her views.

McCarthy didn’t respond to any of the Twitter stings but posted a message to her "haters" a couple days later:
