Jessa Duggar, the third-oldest daughter from TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" family, is engaged to marry her boyfriend, Ben Seewald, after an 11–month courtship.
Duggar, 21, and Seewald, 19, met at church and
entered into a relationship last September.
They announced their engagement to People magazine Friday, a night after agreeing to tie the knot.
"We are so blessed to be engaged," the couple told the magazine in a statement. "God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun. We are thrilled to see what the future holds — especially the wedding bells."

Duggar and Seewald waited until their engagement to hold hands and plan to share their first kiss at the altar, a nod to their religious values.
"[Seewald is] the first one she has shown interest in that has a spiritual focus and legitimate calling about ministry work,"
Jessa's dad, Jim Bob Duggar, told People magazine last year. "When a guy is pursuing your daughter, you want to check him out and see if there are any red flags. With Ben, there hasn’t been. He is very sharp. It appears like a match made in heaven."
Jessa is not the first Duggar daughter to become engaged. Her older sister Jill married Derick Dillard in June after a brief courtship. The two also famously abstained from kissing until their wedding.
The Duggar family's lives have been chronicled on the TLC reality show "19 Kids & Counting" since 2008. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have 19 children, ranging in age from 26 to 4, and all the kids' names start with the letter "J."
The oldest Duggar sibling, 26-year-old Josh, is married with three kids of his own.
