Jim Kelly, former Buffalo Bills star quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer, has updated his travel plans to spend Easter weekend at home with his family before returning to New York City to resume treatment for sinus cancer.
''He's doing pretty good,'' Kelly's brother, Dan Kelly, told The Associated Press on Wednesday,
according to Fox Sports. ''We anticipate Jim coming home for this weekend. He's put together a couple of good days in a row.''
Kelly, 54, was diagnosed with sinus cancer in late March, and shortly thereafter began chemotherapy at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan on April 8. He is currently scheduled for two more sessions, and is also having radiation treatment five days a week.

Dan Kelly told reporters that the first chemo session was hard on his brother as doctors targeted cancer cells attached to Kelly's maxillary sinus, the cavity adjacent to the nose.
In June of last year, Kelly had part of his upper jaw removed because of cancer and now wears a prosthesis of fake teeth and bone. After many months of being cancer free, he now faces numerous microscopic tumors that his doctor said were "very treatable and potentially curable."
Jim's wife, Jill, has kept fans updated via social media, tweeting and Instagramming photos of Jim with a smile on his face.
