Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen quietly welcomed a baby girl last month, and now the "Late Night" funnyman has revealed that the couple used a surrogate.
Winnie Rose Fallon was born July 23 to parents Fallon, 38, and Juvonen, 46.
"My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby," Fallon told "Today" show co-host Savannah Guthrie Friday in a clip of a longer interview that will air this week. "We tried a bunch of things — so we had a surrogate. We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody.' It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody."
"I can't stop looking at her," Fallon told the "Today" show anchors. "When I'm not holding her, I’m looking at photos of her on my phone. She’s the coolest — the best thing to ever happen to me."

During an opening monologue on "Late Night" last month, Fallon joked about his daughter Winnie being friends with the royal baby, who was born just a day before.
"Yes, William and Kate, we'll definitely set up a play date," he joked. "Stop bothering me. I saw the invitation on the easel."
Fallon's "Late Night" was recently nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series.
"We're just psyched that the TV Academy recognized how hard we've been working and how different this show is,"
Fallon told Deadline of the nomination. "We honestly just feel really lucky and excited and honored and humbled and thankful."
Fallon will replace Jay Leno on the "Tonight" show next year.
