Joan Rivers took another shot at Jennifer Lawrence this week telling the New York Post that her New Year’s resolution is to make sure “Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down.”

The two got in a mini-feud when Lawrence said recently that shows like Rivers’ “Fashion Police” teach young people how to judge each other and “that it’s OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat,” the Post said.

Rivers retorted: “I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican. Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it.”

But Lawrence has been outspoken about women and weight, saying she wants to be “healthy and strong” for her movie roles and that she’s refused to lose weight.

"We have the ability to control this image that young girls are going to be seeing. They see enough of this body that they will never be able to obtain and it's an amazing opportunity to rid ourselves of that in this industry," The Guardian quoted Lawrence as saying.

Lawrence probably didn’t know what she was getting into when she criticized Rivers’s show; Rivers skewed the young actress on Twitter.
