Jon Voight has a message for Americans divided along the political lines, which is to vote for truth and love — and to pray that President Donald Trump, "the greatest president of this century," continues his presidency for another four years.
The 80-year-old actor shared a video to Twitter Sunday in which he praised Trump while slamming the "radical left."
Voight's message of "peace and love" comes amid mounting tensions and partisan divide.
"This is not peace," the "Ray Donovan" actor says in the video shared to his more than 166,000 Twitter followers. "This is not love. This is hate among the radical left."
Voight goes on to state that, while the Republican Party has "voted for renewal, for a place of safety, a community where all can have peace" there is an ongoing war among the left.
"They have hate. It’s like a venom," he continues, per Yahoo News. "No words of God, no words of love, but a radical emotion of hate."
Trump is a man of truth, love, and justice, not just for Americans but for the people of Israel, Voight points out.
"Not only does he love our country, the United States of America, but he has a love for the people of all nations," he says before urging Americans to pray for peace and for Trump to "take on four more years of his strength, devotion, knowledge of truths."
Voight then calls for the nation to take a stand for liberty and justice and to further pray that those who have "doubt and have extreme anger toward President Trump, may they be shown differently, that President Trump is the greatest president of this century."
