The Cleveland Browns’ Josh Gordon offered fans a glimpse of what’s under his uniform on his Instagram, showing a picture of the tattoo of a fish and his number 12 that covers his entire back.

The tattoo isn’t finished yet, as the left side still needs to be colored in. It features a large fish, with his last name and his jersey number, 12.
Gordon didn’t say much why he chose the ink, just posting along with the photo, “A representation of yourself.. It's a lifestyle.. cc:@tattzbyd #almostdone #koi #blasted”
Fox Sports reported some players have regretted tattoos they've received. Kenyon Martin broke up with a girlfriend after getting her lips tattooed on his body.
Jets head coach Rex Ryan got a tattoo of his wife wearing a Mark Sanchez jersey.
Fox quipped it “will be decidedly awkward if the USC product never starts a game as quarterback for the Jets (or any NFL team) again.”
Although tattoos are more commonly accepted than they used to be, many expressed disapproval of Gordon's new ink in the comments section of the Fox story.
“Nooooooo! Not another story of a self absorbed athlete and his ink! Honestly people, who cares?” wrote one commenter. “Although I did work with a nice older lady that had a tattoo of a butterfly between her breasts that I'm sure looked good when she was 20 but when I met her it looked more like a wrinkled moth being stretched between two burlap bags. Just food for thought people.”
Additionally, rumors have circulated that Gordon may be traded for another team, which could make that number 12 a problem.
