Julia Roberts bullied her younger overweight half-sister Nancy to the point where she had gastric bypass surgery and now the actress is refusing to attend her sister's wedding, according to reports.
Nancy Motes, 37, talked about her older half-sister's bratty behavior to the
New York Daily News. At one point Motes weighed nearly 300 pounds, but is now down to 155 after her surgery in 2012, according to the newspaper.
Motes said Roberts, 45, teased her mercilessly about her weight for years. She said she was in junior high school when Roberts rocketed to fame with the role of "Pretty Woman," which earned the actress her first Oscar nomination in in 1990.

"When I was in high school and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight," Motes told the Daily News. "She would make it quite clear to me and in a not-so-nice a manner. It just makes me feel incredibly hurt and very sad."
On May 9,
ShowBizSpy.com reported that Roberts planned to boycott Motes' wedding to John Dilbeck because she didn't like her sister's fiancée. Motes works as a production assistant for the Fox series "Glee," a job Motes admitted that Roberts got for her, according to website.
"Julia doesn’t think much of Nancy’s husband-to-be," a source told ShowBizSpy.com. "She’s convinced he’s sponging off Nancy, who doesn’t have much money in the first place. They moved out to (Los Angeles) from Georgia, and John was working at a Panda Express restaurant, but he quit his job after Nancy landed a gig as a production assistant."
The source added that Roberts was also concerned that "Nancy will try to tap her for more money" if she attended the wedding.
Motes, though, disputed the claim that Roberts was boycotting the wedding. Motes told the Daily news she will get married in May 2014.

"My family, we love each other absolutely," Motes said. "I love Julia absolutely, and I have no doubt she loves me."
She conceded feeling inadequate at times growing up in the family of attractive actors, which includes brother Eric Roberts and sister Lisa Roberts Gillan.
