Kate Gosselin has abandoned her lawsuit against ex-husband Jon Gosselin, the dad from "Jon & Kate Plus 8" who last we heard was working as a waiter and living in a cabin in the woods.
In the multi-million dollar suit, Kate alleged that Jon had hacked and wire-tapped her in order to obtain information which he then gave to his friend Robert Hoffman, who wrote the book "Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World."

Gosselin is known for her reality TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" in which she and her former husband showcased their lifestyle raising their sextuplets and one set of twins – eight children in total. The couple was married for 10 years before they divorced in 2009.
The lawsuit, which was filed three months ago, claimed that Jon had got into Kate’s private information, including emails and bank accounts, in order to assist Hoffman with the book, which having released in August was removed just two days after it was put on the shelves.
The motion to remove the suit was filed with prejudice, which means she cannot bring an action on the same claim in the future,
Britain's Daily Mail reported.
Radar Online reported that Gosselin's motion to remove the lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in the United States District Court of Pennsylvania.
The suit reportedly said: "Plaintiff Kate Gosselin agrees to dismiss with prejudice all claims and potential claims that she has or may have against Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin that were or could have been asserted in this case."
Tough it is unclear what triggered the reversal, the wording of Tuesday's motion appeared to suggest that Jon had agreed to drop an apparent counterclaim against Kate.
"Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin agrees to dismiss with prejudice all counterclaims or potential counterclaims that he has or may have against Plaintiff Kate Gosselin that were or could have been asserted in this case," the motion continued, according to RadarOnline.com.
Kate apparently does not intend to drop her case against the book's author, as suggested by the court filing: "By this motion, Plaintiff Kate Gosselin is not dismissing her claims against any Defendant other than Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin."
According to the Daily Mail, Kate accused the book's author of having "bragged" of being in possession of 5000 family photos, personal documents, tax and even business records.
