Katherine Webb, accidental star of last year's BCS National Championship, had a more quiet game this year during No. 3-ranked Alabama's stunning 45-31 loss to Oklahoma at the Sugar Bowl on Thursday.
Webb, the longtime girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron, stood on the Crimson Tide sideline with his family enduring the 14-point beatdown by the Sooners, the most points Alabama had given up to an opponent in McCarron's stint as quarterback.

The former Miss Alabama beauty queen shared a photo on her Twitter account with McCarron's mother at the Sugar Bowl Thursday.
Webb became a sensation last January when ABC commentator Brent Musburger gushed over Webb's attractiveness during last year's national championship game against Notre Dame.
"Wow, I'm telling you. You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women," said Musburger, 73, during the broadcast to fellow announcer Kirk Herbstreit. "So, if you're a youngster in Alabama, start getting a football out and throw it around the backyard with Pops!"
That game was a much different result, with Alabama defending its national championship with a big 42-14 win over the Fighting Irish. After Musburger's comments, Webb's Twitter followers jumped 200,000 people in two days.
ESPN issued an apology for Musburger's comments but Webb defended the commentator on the "Today" show shortly afterward.
"I think the media has been really unfair to (Musburger)," she in the interview last year. "I think that if he would've said something along the line of we were 'hot' or 'sexy' or made any derogatory statements like that, that would've been a little bit different. But the fact that he said we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don't see why any woman wouldn't be flattered by that. ... I don't take any offense to it at all. I don't think (ESPN's apology) was needed, honestly."
Ironically, Webb is the graduate of Alabama's bitter rival, Auburn. The Tigers beat Alabama in a thrilling 34-28 Iron Bowl game in November that knocked the Crimson Tide out of this year's championship game, according to E! News.
