Rumors are swirling again that Katie Holmes is dating ex-husband Tom Cruise's close friend Jamie Foxx, though Foxx threw cold water on the reports on Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday.
Foxx told Nancy O'Dell on ET that the reports of him dating Holmes are "hilarious."

"(The rumors) are one hundred percent not true," Foxx said. "In fact, it's quite hilarious because
we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."
But the rumors continued about
Holmes, 34, and Fox, 45; In Touch reported on Tuesday that the two are an item, based on "multiple source" confirmations.
"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while," a source said. "They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance."
Another source claimed a limo picked up Holmes from the Trump Soho Hotel where Foxx was staying while he was filming "Annie" in mid-September.
"A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car," the insider said. "So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment."
RadarOnline.com kicked up the Holmes-Foxx dating dust storm in August, after reporting the danced at a fundraiser in the Hamptons with the headline "New Couple Alert?"
"Katie Holmes blindsided Tom Cruise when she filed for divorce . . . now the ex-'Dawson's Creek' star could be set to stun him once again by hooking up with his former best friend Jamie Foxx," wrote RadarOnline on Aug. 28. "Though so far no signs of a full-blown romance have been uncovered, the pair did not hide their affection while dancing together at the Apollo in the Hamptons benefit in East Hampton, New York on Saturday."
The New York Post reported at the time that the two were simply old friends, dismissing the rumors.
Celebrity website
GossipCop.com reported that a Holmes representative said that the dating rumors were "ridiculous" and that she had been friends with Foxx "for a very long time."
"The real deal is that RadarOnline took some photos of the two pals at the Apollo event in the Hamptons and fashioned a bogus 'new couple' post around those pics," GossipCop.com wrote at the time. "Nothing more than that."
