Former "Fashion Police" host Kelly Osbourne poked fun at former NAACP president Rachel Dolezal on Instagram, posing with curly hair like the transracial woman with the hashtag #CallMeRachel.
Osbourne posted the photo Thursday and had more than 26,800 likes in less than a day on Instagram.
The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne first posted a photo of Dolezal's youth picture and current photo about a week ago when the story first broke with the caption, "This has utterly shocked me!!! It's a #WholeNewLevelOfWrong."
"Rachel Dolezal hasn't made many fans since landing in the national news as a white woman who has passed herself off as African-American,"
wrote Time magazine's Sarah Begley. "But Kelly Osbourne seems to be particularly turned off by the former NAACP official, registering outrage on social media over the deceit."
The E! Network announced in February that Osbourne was leaving "Fashion Police" to pursue other opportunities. That announcement came days after her "Fashion Police" co-host Giuliana Rancic made what some considered offensive comments about dreadlocks worn by Disney actress Zendaya,
reported Entertainment Weekly.
Osbourne reacted negatively to Rancic's comment on social media and threatened to leave the show if she did not apologize, but still left after Rancic did follow up with an apology, noted Entertainment Weekly.
Some on social media challenged Osbourne's Dolezal parody, suggesting she was being a hypocrite in light of the way she reacted to Rancic's comment on "Fashion Police."
Others left comments on her Instagram account, calling Osbourne a "racists" for mocking Dolezal, but others found the photo "hilarious."
