The story of a kidnapped 9-year-old boy who sang a gospel song for three hours until his captor released him unharmed is going viral.
Willie Myrick, 9, was kidnapped from his yard in southwest Atlanta earlier this month. The boy said he then sang "Every Praise" as they drove around for hours until the man finally
"opened the door and threw me out," Willie told 11Alive News.

"He was cursing at me telling me to shut up and didn't want to hear a word from me,"
Willie told police, according to WSB-TV. "He said if I told anyone he would hurt me, like in a bad way."
As Willie's story went viral online, Grammy Award-winning singer Hezekiah Walker, who wrote the gospel song, was so moved that he flew to Atlanta to meet the boy.
“It’s just emotional to me because you never know who you’re going to touch,” Walker told 11Alive. “I just wanted to hug him and tell him I love him.”
Last week at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Walker and Willie led the congregation in singing “Every Praise,” 11Alive said.
Willie also sang the song on V-103 radio.
WSB reported the boy was taken after going into his front yard to take care of his dog. There, he saw a couple of dollars on the ground and when he went to pick them up, he was grabbed from behind and thrown in a car.
The boy reportedly went to several doors before someone would open up and let him call for help.
The man who kidnapped Willie has not been found, but a sketch of him has been released.
