North Korea's Kim Jong Un Meets Chinese President Xi: 8 Images of the Historic Visit

Kim Jong Un traveled to Beijing to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping last week for a visit shrouded in secrecy that marked the North Korean leader's first known journey abroad since 2011.

China said after the meeting that Kim pledged to denuclearize the Korean peninsula, a move that could pave the way for successful talks with the U.S. Earlier this month, President Donald Trump agreed to meet with Kim directly to discuss denuclearization.
