Country music will jam with rock 'n' roll in a new musical collaboration when Lady Antebellum will join Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks on "CMT Crossroads."
“Crossroads” launched about 12 years ago and pairs country musicians with singers from other genres. Nicks and the Lady Antebellum band members filmed the episode, which will air Sept. 13, in Los Angeles.

Rolling Stone magazine said the award-winning musicians complimented each other repeatedly during the show’s taping, clearly excited for their time on stage together.
Lady Antebellum member Charles Kelley told Nicks she’d have to go through a few Lady A songs first (they taped five before getting to a Nicks number), and Rolling Stone said it was obvious Nicks didn’t mind.
“These songs are amazing,” the music magazine quoted Nicks as saying. “These songs make you feel like you’re in love.”
Nicks was drawn to the group’s new song, “Golden,” which will be on an upcoming album, and said she cried when she listened to it.
Kelley displayed a rather obvious adoration of Nicks, Rolling Stone said, joking as the singer leaned on his piano while he played, “This is every man’s fantasy – Stevie Nicks draped over a piano. I would like a picture of this.”
While Nicks and Lady A members had a good time, Nicks' admiration for the group showed when she talked about her song “Edge of Seventeen,” which they performed together for CMT. It was one of her biggest hits, and she said she doesn’t always like others to sing it because it’s personal.
“I’m proud to share it with Lady Antebellum because they’re good enough to do it,” Nicks said, according to Rolling Stone.
Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and continues to tour with Fleetwood Mac, along with maintaining her solo career.
Lady Antebellum has won a Grammy and other awards.
