Lance Armstrong makes light of the doping scandal that destroyed his cycling career in the opening of a new how-to video for Outside magazine's website.

The video, "How to fix a flat with Lance Armstrong," opens with Armstrong saying, "Hi. I'm Lance Armstrong, seven time winner of the Tour de France."

A moment later, he adds, "Hey, I didn't write the script."

"Cycling's most infamous rider has been looking for work lately," a description under the video reads. "We caught up with him at his latest bike-shop gig to hear a few pointers about what to do when you break down."

In August 2012, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency stripped Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles (1999 to 2005) and his third place finish in 2009, erasing one of the most impressive accomplishments in sports. Armstrong's decision to not take the charges against him to arbitration triggered the forfeiture of his titles and a lifetime ban from the sport.

Jake O'Donnell of SportsGrid.com wrote that the video is a must-see.

"It's fitting that in the week of the holiday based around 'resurrection,' Lance Armstrong pops up on the internet in his first step toward being a person again," O'Donnell wrote Tuesday. "We think. Maybe he was just really bored. Either way, this thing is awkward-though-informative-and-kinda-funny, and DEFINITELY something everyone has to watch, regardless."

Many people reacted to the Armstrong video on Twitter.

As part of a whistle-blower lawsuit related to Armstrong's sponsorship with the U.S. Postal service, he revealed last week the names of people who had prior knowledge of his doping before his downfall as a cycling champion, including three doctors and the manager of his racing team.

Armstrong said trainer Pepi Marti, Dr. Pedro Celaya, Dr. Luis Garcia del Moral, and Dr. Michele Ferrari provided him performance enhancing drugs.
