Former U.S. Men’s National Team soccer player Landon Donovan is delighting fans and making light of his exclusion from the World Cup team for Brazil in an ad for EA Sports' 2014 World Cup game.
In the ad, Donovan plays the World Cup video game, and the U.S. wins with him on the team. Donovan then sings, "I’m not going to Brazil."

Yahoo Sports called the ad a dig at U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann, who made the decision not to include Donovan on the World Cup team and also said that the U.S. couldn’t realistically win the World Cup.
Donovan, who was hired as an ESPN pundit, took issue with Klinsmann’s statement.
"This will come as a surprise to nobody, but I don’t agree with Jurgen," Donovan said on ESPN's coverage. "And as someone who has been in that locker room and has sat next to the players, we agree with the (supporter group) American Outlaws: We believe that we will win. I think that’s the way Americans think and I think that’s the sentiment."
Fans expressed their delight on Twitter.
Donovan previously appeared in an ad for the LA Galaxy, in which he is left alone to answer phones while other workers watch the World Cup.
