“The Last Jedi” tickets will go on sale after ESPN “Monday Night Football” debuts the movie’s trailer during half time. Then after the protests, er, the game between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, “Star Wars” fans can go online to buy tickets for the December release.

Here’s the spoiler alert: movie director Rian Johnson said don’t watch the trailer if you don’t want to know ahead of time the plot of the eighth installation of the George Lucas-created Skywalker saga, NME.com reported. But you can still buy the tickets.

The game starts at 8:15 p.m. ET/5:15 PT, USA Today reported, noting that tickets for the movie will be available at several sites, including Fandango.

This chapter in the saga picks up from its 2015 predecessor, “The Force Awakens.”

“If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it,” Johnson tweeted about the trailer, adding “but it’s gooooood.....”

“The Last Jedi” has been shrouded in secrecy, typical to the nature of the Skywalker saga. Johnson, however, has revealed a few gold nuggets.

Speaking to The New York Times, he explained that the heart of the movie lay with Luke and Rey.

“It follows all the other characters, but its real essence is the development of the two of them,” he said, explaining that this was tied up in the question of what Luke’s attitude was toward the Jedi. (“Star Wars” fans will understand.)

Johnson also confirmed that Han Solo would return as a Force ghost.

“Everything I’m dropping is gold, right here,” he said.
