An 11-year-old boy's crate of toy Legos spilled on a West Virginia highway on Sunday, scattering the colorful plastic bricks everywhere and causing road delays and closures, but thanks to Facebook, he should have a new collection soon.
"Those legos belonged to my 11 yr old son they where in totes strapped to the top of the durango they fell off strap came loose he cried it seemed like forever but I tried to recover as many as I could cause I don’t have the money to buy him anymore," Facebook user
Tiffany Lantz commented on a photo of the spill posted by a transportation worker.

Highway crews worked quickly to clean up the
Legos mess Sunday, which shut down one lane of Interstate 79 near Clarksburg after authorities realized the hundreds of pieces could create slippery conditions for passing cars, local news station WDTV reported.
Among the cleanup crew was firefighter Eric McClain, who snapped a picture of the Lego spill and uploaded it to Facebook. After Lantz's admission, several well-meaning Facebookers offered to help her son get new Legos.
"Tiffany, MSG me your address. I have tons of Legos in storage I don't use. Your son could have more use for them," one user commented.
"I would like to donate a few bucks towards some replacement Legos for your kid as well. I loved my Legos when I was a kid and as a new parent I now know how expensive they are," someone else posted.
"Tiffany — let me know if we can send legos or a paypal donation or anything to get some more for your son," another said.
The photo was also posted on the social news site Reddit Monday, where it drew more than 16,000 user votes.
