A Lincoln Tunnel accident left one man dead and a handful of others injured Tuesday after a chain-reaction crash snarled traffic inside one of the tubes.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police spokesman Joe Pentangelo told The Associated Press that the 49-year-old Summit, New Jersey, resident was among three people hurt in the accident. But his name has not been released, pending notification of his relatives.
