"Little Women: LA" star Christy McGinity's two-week-old daughter Violet has died. McGinty's boyfriend, Gonzalo Justo Carazo, confirmed the news of her passing on March 20 in a statement to People.

"It is with our deepest sorrow that we send our baby girl Violet Eva Carazo to play with the angels. We were able to spend two weeks with our sweet baby girl and for that we are forever thankful," Carazo said. "Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated."

No cause of death has been disclosed, but it is known that Violet was born seven weeks early, measuring 15 inches and weighing 3 pounds, 15 ounces.

A week after she was born, Carazo posted a photo of McGinity, himself, and their daughter.

"Happy One Week Old Birthday to our Baby Girl Violet," he captioned the post. "Thank U for making me a Dad and bringing me an entire new perspective during your first week of Life. We love you so much!"

McGinty, who has two other children from another marriage, admitted on social media that her pregnancy was not an easy one, but added that Carazo had been supportive.

"Dinner and dessert with this handsome man," she captioned a photo of the couple in an Instagram post on March 1. "It's been a rough few weeks and thank you for lifting up my spirits."
