Meadow Walker, the daughter of late "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker, was awarded $10.1 million from the estate of Roger Rodas, the man behind the wheel of the Porsche that crashed and killed both men.

"The settlement was actually made in 2014, but it went under the radar in the courts because it was filed under the name Meadow W.," reported TMZ. "She got just over $7.2 [million] and her lawyer snagged just under $3 [million]."

TMZ wrote that it was not clear if the estate would pay the bulk of the settlement to Meadow Walker, 17, or Rodas's insurance company.

"The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short," Jeff Milam, the attorney representing Meadow Walker, said in a statement to People.com.

Milam told ABC News on Tuesday that Meadow Walker would be moving forward with her lawsuit against Porsche as well, even though U.S. District Judge Phillip Gutierrez dismissed another lawsuit brought by Kristine Rodas, the widow of Roger Rodas, on Monday.

"The issues in the cases are very different," Milam said in a statement. "Meadow's father, Paul Walker, was a passenger in the car. He survived the crash but was trapped and burned to death because of the vehicle's defects."

Gutierrez ruled Monday that Kristine Rodas failed to show enough evidence proving that the Porsche Roger Rodas was driving lacked basic safety features that could have saved his life.

Walker was on a break from filming "Furious 7" when he left a charity event with Rodas on Nov. 20, 2013, in a Porsche Carrera GT that eventually crashed and exploded into flames in Santa Clarita, California. People magazine stated that both men died on the scene.

An earlier investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol stated that the Porche was operating at an unsafe speed at the time of the crash, going 94 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone, Us Weekly reported.
