Megan Fox appears in the "Call of Duty" live-action trailer for its latest video game, "Epic Night Out."

In the brief cameo appearance, Fox plays a drone-killing sniper on a skyscraper rooftop who shrugs off sexual advances by a novice game player whose life she must save.

Continuing with "Call of Duty's" theme, "There’s a Soldier in All of Us," in the clip, four gun-touting friends and their ammo-carrying dog arrive in Las Vegas, which has been destroyed. Frank Sinatra's "I’m Gonna Live Till I Die" plays in the background as helicopters, tanks, and snipers explode on the scene.

The four-man team winds up in a deep-space fire fight and an arctic car chase before appearing back in Vegas and taking a victorious stroll in front of the iconic Bellagio Fountains.

The promotional video was shot primarily on a Warner Bros. lot over the course of seven days, AdWeek reported.

"I think an important question with these [ads] is: At what point might a famous personality overshadow the story we're trying to tell, or the connection we're trying to make? This year it's four guys you probably haven't seen, even though they've had roles in Hollywood," Glenn Cole, chief creative officer of the 72andSunny ad agency, which is responsible for the clip, told AdWeek.

Other celebrities have made cameo appearances in prior "Call of Duty" promotional videos. Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Kimmel appeared in the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" trailer, while Jonah Hill, Robert Downey Jr., and Sam Worthington appeared in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" trailer.

Why was Fox chosen to be the first female celebrity to appear in a "Call of Duty" ad? Because "she's fun, she's sexy, she's cool, she's badass, she's recognizable around the world. And the role was fun," Cole said.

"It will be a night out in Vegas, you and your buddies having a great time," Cole added. "Crazy s— happens, and you wake up the next day and go, 'Holy hell, that was the best night of the year. Let's do that again!' Which is just like playing 'Call of Duty' with your friends."

The one-minute, 44-second trailer was directed by James Mangold, who has directed "Walk the Line," "Girl, Interrupted," and most recently "The Wolverine."
