Melania Trump appeared to give the president a little nudge during the national anthem at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, seemingly reminding him to put his hand over his heart.

As the annual event got underway on the White House grounds, President Donald Trump stood beside the first lady and their son Barron on the Truman Balcony.

As "The Star-Spangled Banner" began, though, Melania and Barron immediately placed their hands over their hearts, while Trump hesitated for a moment, prompting a little nudge from his wife, according to CBS News.

Considering the world of social media that we live in today, there’s no way that Melania’s nudge was not going to become a trending topic on Twitter.

The Easter Egg Roll event — hosted by the first lady — brought 21,000 people to the White House Monday morning. Some of those included members of Trump’s large family.

Melania Trump spoke to the crowd prior to the festivities.

“As we renew this tradition, thank you for joining us on behalf of the president and Barron. We wish you great fun and a beautiful day is coming ahead of us,” she said, according to the Daily Mail. “Happy Easter."

The president offered some brief remarks as well.

“We will be stronger and bigger and better as a nation than ever before. We are right on track,” he said. “You see what’s happening. We are right on track."

Trump also took a moment to recognize his wife for her hard work in making their first Easter in the White House a special one.

“I just want to thank first lady Melania Trump,” he said. “She worked really hard on this. She has been working on this for a long time to make it perfect.”

The White House Easter Egg Roll event is a tradition dating all the way back to 1878.
