Filmmaker Michael Moore's divorce documents revealed that he lived more like the so-called 1 Percent while at the same time building up his image and income as someone fighting alongside the 99 Percent, drawing widespread criticism and accusations of hypocrisy.
According to The Smoking Gun, the self-described "amicable" divorce from his wife of 22 years, Kathleen Glynn, was finalized Tuesday after the former husband and wife settled on how they would split their many assets.
Among those assets were 9 homes in multiple states, including a 10,000-square-foot mansion in a lakeside community in his home state of Michigan. Madonna and Bruce Willis were also reported to have residences in the area,
according to NBC's "Today" show.

Moore has become famous for his documentary films including "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Sicko," and "Capitalism: A Love Story," as well as his attendance and speeches in New York at the Occupy Wall Street rally.
He frequently questions and criticizes capitalism, which has made him a hero of many on the left side of the political spectrum. Because of his considerable wealth, however, he has drawn criticism from many who say he should be thankful for capitalism since it allowed him to lead the lavish lifestyle he chose to engage in.
"He criticizes capitalism, but capitalism made him rich," one local store owner in Moore's lake community
told The Detroit News.
In 2011, he admitted to his wealth, but said he was proud to pay his full taxes, has set up a charity foundation, and remain divested from corporations that engage in questionable practices.
