Twitter erupted Wednesday as a viral-bound photo of Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann wearing Google Glass at a House meeting made the Internet rounds.

Bachmann, a former Republican presidential hopeful, seems to be testing the waters recently for a possible reemergence into the political spotlight. She has been relatively quiet since she crashed and burned with a sixth-place finish in the 2012 Iowa caucuses.

But she was the center of Twitter this week after photos were posted of her donning Google Glass, a wearable computer being developed by the search giant. It's not clear why Bachmann was testing out the glasses, or if she kept them on for the duration of the House meeting, but Twitter users quickly took advantage of the opportunity to poke fun at Bachmann and reference her 2011 Newsweek cover.
