Thousands of Twitter users were already urging Michelle Obama to run for president in 2020 just hours after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.

The hashtag #Michelle2020 was trending Wednesday, and users tweeted supportive comments, shared videos, and even created campaign posters like these, featuring the first lady as a candidate.

According to Gallup, Michelle Obama currently has a favorable rating of 64 percent, which is higher than President-Elect Trump, Hillary Clinton, and even her husband, President Barack Obama.

However, according to her husband, Michelle Obama has no plans to try to become the first female president of the United States. Barack Obama said in a speech in Louisiana in January that he did not think Michelle would run. “No, no,” Obama said, CBS News reported. “No, no, no ... no, no.”

The president continued, "Let me tell you, there are three things that are certain in life: death, taxes, and Michelle is not running for president."

In another interview reported by Us Weekly, the president said, “She is as talented and brilliant a person as there is and I could not be prouder of her, but Michelle does not have the patience or the inclination to actually be a candidate herself.”

But all of that was before Tuesday's election, and now that Hillary Clinton's lost, the internet is pulling for Michelle in 2020.
