A Millennium Falcon drone has been custom built and flown by an at-home hobbyist, and Star Wars fans think it's anything but a "piece of junk."

CNET.com reported that the creator goes by the name of "Oliver C" online, and has been kind enough to share his design patterns and build process at RCGroups.com. On Reddit, he said he plans to build a TIE fighter next.

It appears a quad-copter base will also be used for the TIE fighter, although no word yet if Oliver is going to equip it for aerial warfare with the Falcon.
