House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi condemned a new ad from Breitbart News that Photoshopped her head on the now-famous image of Miley Cyrus "twerking" on MTV.
"It’s so tasteless that I mean, is it even worthy of a question?"
Pelosi responded to ABC News’ John Parkinson when asked for her opinion of the picture. "It’s so undignified."
Breitbart News created the image as part of a series that placed the heads of the late Andrew Breitbart, Governor Jerry Brown, Pelosi, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and former CNN host Piers Morgan onto California-inspired images to promote its new California section.

The ad featuring Pelosi also depicts Brown as a bodybuilder (potentially Arnold Schwarzenegger?) immediately above.
On Monday, Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz also condemned the image with a statement that read, "To say the least, the Breitbart News ad is foul, offensive, and disrespectful to all women. It is a disgusting new low and would be reprehensible against any woman – regardless of party."
She urged Republican leaders to, "condemn this outrageous behavior, call on Breitbart News to immediately remove the ad, and not continue to use this website as a forum for their views."
Majority Whip Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., originally supported the new launch of Breitbart California, saying last week, "This weekend’s launch of Breitbart California is a testament to his legacy of holding our public officials accountable for their actions. I look forward to the voice of reform-minded Californians being represented without bias as Breitbart California launches.”
After the new images were launched, however, McCarthy condemned the ad campaign. "The images are inappropriate," said his spokesperson, Mike Long.
Politico points out that the Democrats who called for the condemnation of the Breitbart ad never lifted a finger to condemn last year's hyper-sexualized Saturday Night Live video in which Miley Cyrus portrayed herself as a twerking version of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann
— likely offensive to women based on the standards recently expressed by Pelosi and Schultz.
Unlike Pelosi, Bachmann didn't seem to mind her send up. "I have a good sense of humor . . . I've probably been lampooned six or seven times on 'Saturday Night Live,'" she told TheTeaParty.net,
later reported by The Huffington Post. "I've never done twerking in my life and I don't intend to take it up."
