A recent New York Times recipe, which suggested adding peas to guacamole to put a healthy spin on the dip, has drawn the ire of the Internet, and even President Barack Obama.
“Trust us,” The Times asked of its followers on Twitter:

Justin Green, Independent Journal Review political editor, tweeted #AskPOTUS on Wednesday: “ Do you agree with the @nytimes about putting peas in guacamole?
If yes, why?" reported Fox News.
