Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban, the New Zealand-born and Australian-raised country music musician and songwriter, flew out of Sydney on Tuesday along with their two daughters, 5-year-old Sunday Rose and 2-year-old Faith.
The family was headed back to their home in Nashville after spending the past two weeks visiting family for Christmas and New Year's,

The 46-year-old Kidman, who is Australian, was also reportedly celebrating her parent’s 50th wedding anniversary during the visit.
The tall, statuesque redhead, who was previously married to Tom Cruise, has graced the big screen for the past 30 years. She has starred in more than 60 films and TV shows, including "Far and Away, " "Moulin Rouge!, " "The Others, " and "Eyes Wide Shut."
The Oscar-winning actress made news in September after leaving a Calvin Klein show during New York City's Fashion Week, when
she was struck by a bike-riding paparazzo and knocked to the pavement.
TMZ.com identified the cyclist as freelance photographer Carl Wu, 19. The paparazzi cyclist was subsequently issued three summonses by police, for riding a bike on the sidewalk, riding a bike without a helmet, and reckless endangerment.
Kidman was reportedly not injured in the incident.
She and Urban have been married since 2006.
Several other celebrities were seen flying out of Australia after the holidays, including fellow Aussie actor Hugh Jackman, who was headed to South Africa to begin filming the movie "Chappie" in Johannesburg, the Daily Telegraph noted.
Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie were also seen flying out of Sydney after spending the past week in Queensland with their six children.
